| today was AMAZINGLY AWESOME. I left at 930 for Springfield. I was there by 1130 and spent the day with Sarah. We did a lot of stuff. I met her family, which I thought was going to be kinda odd having to meet family, but was totally cool cus they were awesome family. I never thought it was possible to have that much fun so easily, but I did. I want to visit again as soon as possible....like tomorrow but too bad its not possible. Her brother, Glen, got 2nd place in his horse show (congrats) anyways yea I've got to go bye | | |
| So its Tuesday. I leave at 9am to go to Springfield Im pretty stoaked. Last night I stayd out ti about 2am...I sat at Dk' picnic tables talking to Licia and MIke the whole time. It was a rather good time. Today I had to work and then I had band. After band was kickass. Anyways not much else going on right now. Parentals have been gone since Monday morning and come back tomorrow afternoon at some point. | | |
| Had Relay for Life last night. Dead tired after. I got home at 6, in bed at 6:01am and slept til 3:08. lol Tomorrow I get to go to 6 Flags!!!!! I havn't been there since our 8th grade class took a trip(it was best time too) It rained that whole day, but just a light mist, but enough to keep people away. So we rode Batman 18times in a row, on front row. Awesome. Anyways I talked to Sarah last night, and I get to see her Wednesday:)(hopefully) I'm excited...too bad its not TUesday so that way I can see her tomorrow already. | | |
| SOoO. I've finally gotten my own life back pretty much. But on the sad side, I've got barely any money cus I havn't worked anywhere at all. My life right now is becoming band for the next three months. and we have exactly two weeks until school starts. We had a cast party tonight, at Alex's. Cassie and I were on the trampoline and were attempting to look for shooting stars, well I had found one.(fastforward to 12:47 now) and I was on my way home, on Breese Overpass and I saw a shooting star.....except it was even in height with me falling to the ground.......ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Life, on a personal note, is confusing. So many thoughts run through my head....I'm growing up too fast. I want to be a kid not responsible for my actions I take. I want that sense of no worries except to run w/o my shoes on and play. Sounds funny? just think about it. I leave for college in a year. I start applications soon. I miss when my accomplished pieces of writing were when I wrote a paragraph, not a paper that is multiple pages long. I have only a few months left with my friends, before we go our seperate ways...for the most part. Part of me is excited to move on to college and my senior year....but the othe rpart remembers when I was a freshman, and how fast those three years have passed. The endless hours spent in a desk listening to a teacher ramble on. The uncountable number of times we've all laughed hysterically. Wow...so I know I sound corny, no doubt, but what I'm saying is true. Think from freshman homecoming to Junior year at Prom, to only having a year left of your friends in your classes until you have to move on to new things. | | |
| Hurray! Band camp is FINALLY OVER!. All three weeks of it are done. I think I'm okay with our show. I found out I have a son!( inside joke) His name is Chris Kreke from G-town, and a step-son, Jared Deerhaake. I even have a shirt saying "Proud MOM of a Sousa" it was a good time for an inside joke. I also have Tech week for "Anything Goes" I found out Sunday that I have to pit direct, ahh yess once again another pit director took up on something they couldn't do. So I'm here for good to fill in for it. Our musical is Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, all at 8pm. Friday I have to sing the National Anthem at the Clinton County Relay for Life, then go to the musical. I toured Illinois College today. We had ot leave at 7am- wow, I was dead. But when I got there it actually was awesome. Its not exactly U of I size....by far. It has 1030 students all together. but WOW WOW WOW are the people/campus/class rooms very nice. Its only the first campus tour I've gone on, so we will see what happens. | | |
